ELPISPANDORA / PHILOSOPHY

Music is
alive.

Sound reaches beyond a technical signal. Our approach begins with the emotions, textures and physical presence of listening.

SOUND ARTS OF AUDIO CABLES

The work
behind the work.

01

Sound & feeling

We think of sound as a mental, emotional and physical experience. The expression of music involves more than the transmission of a signal: it can carry the performer’s character, sensitivity and life.

02

Nature & vitality

Air, water, fire, earth and light all belong to our artistic view of sound. Nature offers colours, textures, scents and countless kinds of vitality; we keep these in mind while making cables.

03

Object & presence

An audio cable belongs in the room where music is heard. We believe its appearance can enrich that space as well as its sound, and we treat the cable as an object worth looking at and caring for.

04

Freedom to explore

Our work is an ongoing search for expressive possibilities. Rather than accepting a cable as a purely hidden component, we give form and sound equal attention.

Sound has
possibility.

ELPISPANDORA explores the relationship between materials, musical expression and the visible object. Each cable is part of that continuing inquiry.
